This Privacy Policy explains how MyMinute, available at https://myminute.net, collects, uses, stores and protects users’ personal data.
Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Italian data protection laws.

2. Personal Data We Process
MyMinute processes only the personal data necessary to operate the service.
When purchasing a minute, the following information may be collected:
email address;
nickname;
selected country;
message submitted by the user;
date and time of the purchased minute;
browser/device time zone;
preference regarding public display of the nickname;
preference regarding public archiving of the message;
unique reservation code;
payment status;
PayPal transaction identifier;
purchase date and time.
MyMinute does not require users to create an account and does not collect user passwords for ordinary use of the service.
3. Publicly Displayed Data
Due to the nature of the MyMinute service, some information provided by the user is intended to be made public.
During the purchased minute, the following information may be displayed publicly:
the message;
selected country;
corresponding flag;
nickname, if the user chooses to display it;
or the label “Anonymous”.
The user’s email address is never displayed publicly.
If the user selects the option to keep the message in the public archive, this information may remain accessible on MyMinute after the purchased minute has ended.
4. Purposes of Processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes.
A. Providing the MyMinute Service
Data is used to:
allow users to choose a minute;
associate a message with the purchased minute;
prevent the same minute from being purchased more than once;
publish the message at the correct time;
display nickname, country and flag according to the user’s preferences;
manage the public archive, where applicable;
send reservation confirmations;
provide customer support.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract or steps taken at the user’s request before entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
B. Payment Processing
Data required for payment is processed in order to:
create and confirm the order;
verify successful payment;
associate the payment with the correct reservation;
manage disputes, refunds or payment issues.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract.
MyMinute does not store complete payment card details or users’ PayPal login credentials.
C. Legal, Tax and Accounting Obligations
Certain information relating to transactions may be retained in order to comply with applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.
The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation, pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
D. Security and Abuse Prevention
Certain technical information may be processed in order to:
prevent fraud;
prevent unauthorized access;
prevent spam or improper automated activity;
protect the website infrastructure;
investigate payment anomalies;
protect the rights of the Data Controller and users.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in protecting the security and integrity of the service, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Technical and Browsing Data
While users browse the website, the systems used to operate MyMinute may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

6. Time Zone
MyMinute may automatically detect the time zone configured in the user’s browser or device.
This information is used exclusively to:
display dates and times correctly;
convert the selected minute into a standardized time reference;
ensure that the message is displayed at the correct moment.
Time-zone information is not used to determine the user’s precise geographical location.
7. Selected Country
The country is selected directly by the user.
MyMinute does not verify the user’s actual nationality, citizenship or country of residence.
The selected country and corresponding flag may be displayed publicly together with the message.
8. Payments Through PayPal
Payments on MyMinute are processed through PayPal.
During the payment process, some information is transmitted to or processed directly by PayPal.
MyMinute may receive information from PayPal such as:
payment confirmation or rejection;
transaction identifier;
amount;
currency;
order status;
technical information required to verify the transaction.
MyMinute does not receive or store:
PayPal passwords;
full payment card numbers;
CVV codes;
other complete financial credentials.
PayPal processes personal data independently in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms of service.
9. How Personal Data Is Processed
Personal data is primarily processed through electronic and digital systems.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect personal data against:
unauthorized access;
loss;
destruction;
unlawful disclosure;
unauthorized modification;
unlawful use.
Access to administrative data is restricted to authorized persons.
10. Data Retention
Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Reservations and Transactions
Data relating to purchases may be retained for the duration necessary to manage the contract and subsequently for the period required by applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Where required by law, such data may be retained for several years.
Messages With the “Keep it forever” Option
Messages for which the user chooses public archiving may remain publicly available for as long as:
the service remains operational;
the user does not validly exercise a relevant legal right;
the message is not removed for legal or security reasons;
no other legitimate reason requires removal.
The phrase “Keep it forever” does not constitute a guarantee of perpetual storage.
Messages With the “Disappear after 60 seconds” Option
The message will no longer be publicly available in the archive after the purchased minute has ended.
However, certain technical or transactional information may still be retained internally where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or security purposes.
Technical Logs
Security and technical logs are retained for a period proportionate to the needs of security, diagnostics, fraud prevention and protection of the service.
11. Recipients of Personal Data
Personal data may be disclosed, where strictly necessary, to third parties providing technical or professional services to MyMinute.
These may include:
hosting and infrastructure providers;
database and cloud service providers;
email service providers;
cybersecurity providers;
PayPal;
tax, accounting or legal advisers;
public authorities where required by law.
Such parties receive only the information necessary to perform their respective functions.
12. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area
Some service providers used by MyMinute may operate or use infrastructure located outside the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred to countries outside the EEA and the GDPR applies, such transfers are carried out using appropriate legal mechanisms, including:

other safeguards permitted under the GDPR.
13. Cookies
MyMinute may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the website.
Such technologies may be required for purposes including:

checkout functionality;
abuse prevention;
proper website navigation.
PayPal may also use its own cookies or similar technologies during the payment process.
If MyMinute introduces analytics, profiling, advertising or non-essential tracking technologies in the future, this Privacy Policy and any applicable Cookie Policy will be updated and, where required by law, users’ consent will be requested.
14. Newsletter and Marketing Communications
At present, MyMinute does not use email addresses provided during the purchase process to send newsletters or promotional communications unless the user has separately provided consent.
Email addresses are primarily used for:
communications relating to the reservation;
customer support;
security;
payment management;
information necessary to provide the service.
If a newsletter is introduced in the future, subscription will be separate and voluntary.
15. Profiling and Automated Decision-Making
MyMinute does not use personal data to carry out automated decision-making processes that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect users.
At present, the service does not perform advertising profiling of users.
16. Children
MyMinute is not specifically intended for children, and the purchasing service is intended for persons legally capable of entering into a contract.
The Data Controller does not intend to knowingly collect personal data from minors who are not legally authorized to use the service.
If inappropriate processing of a minor’s personal data is identified, the Data Controller may take the necessary steps to delete such data.
17. Users’ Rights
Under Articles 15 and following of the GDPR, users may, where applicable, exercise the following rights:
obtain confirmation as to whether or not their personal data is being processed;
obtain access to their personal data;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of personal data;

18. Requests to Remove Public Messages
Users may request the removal of a publicly archived message by contacting:

To help identify the relevant reservation, users are encouraged to provide:
the email address used for the purchase;
reservation code;
date and time of the purchased minute;
nickname used, if applicable.
Removal of a message from the public website does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of all transaction-related information where retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal-protection purposes.
19. Right to Lodge a Complaint
Users who believe that their personal data is being processed in violation of applicable data protection law have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

20. Payment Security
MyMinute uses a server-side PayPal integration to verify payment results.
A reservation is considered completed only after payment has been confirmed by the system.
Technical credentials used to communicate with PayPal are stored in protected server environments and are not intentionally exposed to website users.
21. Links to Third-Party Websites
MyMinute may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
The Data Controller does not control how such third parties process personal data.
Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of those third parties.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated over time to reflect:
changes in applicable law;
new features;
technical changes;
new service providers;
